Mexico never dissapoints for sunshine and strong drinks by the beach. Although getting a bad wrap lately, I felt no threat being there and had an amazing time full of crawly and swimy creatures, sun, ocean waves, and delicious food. Puerto Vallarta does not dissapoint, and every sunset just gets prettier. ☀️
Tips and Tricks
1. Don't be scared. Don't google travel warnings, just don't. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Don’t be stupid and walk around alone at night and don’t get in a car with a stranger at the airport. Use street smarts.
2. I've experienced all inclusive Mexico, this time was in a condo where we were in charge. It was nice to try local food and get fresh produce and fish from a local farmers market!
3. EAT THE AVOCADOS! If I could id bring a suitcase of them home. They are so cheap and tasty. The fresh salsa is also stoooopid good.
4. Fajita Republic is a great resturant, cool vibe, and poors an extremely strong margarita that will put you on another level 💃🏻
5. Rent a boat or book a tour in January and go see the Humpback Whales. We were incredibly lucky to see so many and even saw dolphins and mant-rays. Was an amazing experience!
6. Walk around at sunset and at night and look for baby turtles hatching and making their way to swim the ocean waves
7. HUGE IGUANAS ALL OVER 🦎
8. Get a massage on the beach at local cabanas and listen to the waves crash in pure heaven
9. Beach day ALL day 😎
10. Jet ski, parasail, booze cruise. All our available right on the beach!
11. Have transportation with someone made ahead of time so you look passed the people trying to persuade you in the airport
12. Pack light (coming from an overpacker) you will be in a swim suit, sundress, and shorts all day. Kick pack and relax
13. Mexico has great deals for all budgets. Check put expedia and you can set up transportation, hotel, flights, excursions, all with reputable companies
14. SUNSCREEN. Go get it at the local Pharmacy, where you can get nearly everything!
15. I chanced it and at local food, and drank the water from the sink. I lived, so will you. I brought multivitamins and probiotics and took them everyday
